How We Met
September 2018
We first met at a mutual friend's dinner party. Sophie spilled wine on James's shirt, and he pretended not to mind. That awkward first encounter blossomed into friendship as we kept running into each other at social gatherings.
Our First Date
January 2019
After months of friendship, James finally asked Sophie on a proper date. We went hiking on a crisp winter morning, followed by hot chocolate at a local café. We talked for hours, and both knew something special was beginning.
The Proposal
July 2022
During a weekend trip to Vermont, James proposed at sunset on the shores of Lake Champlain. With mountains in the background and the water reflecting the colorful sky, Sophie said yes, and we celebrated with champagne under the stars.
